Artist Statement

A painting should bring a sense of comfort – a feeling of “ home” of intimacy.

My objective is to strike a balance between realism and abstraction. Inspired by the works of Matisse, Richard Diebenkorn, and Nathan Olivieri, I try to portray the feelings that the images evoke in me with the goal to create a shared and intimate experience with the viewer.
